Proposed Ban - Mako Sharks
Proposed January 29th Ban on the Recreational Take of Mako Shark Species.
VRFish is strongly opposed to the ban and is working hard alongside Recfish, AFTA, GFAV and ALL Stakeholders in an attempt to have the listing of three shark species under the migratory section of the EPBC Act delayed until the recommendations contained in the EPBC Act Independent review can be adopted by the Federal Government.
