Man loses boat... realises 50km later!
WHAT THE !! As reported in the Daily Telegraph Newspaper in late July, an Adelaide motorist has driven 50 kilometres along the city's south-eastern freeway before realising his boat had slipped from its trailer and was left lying in the middle of the road.
The Telegraph said it wasn't until the man had travelled about 50km towing just his trailer that he stopped in the Adelaide Hills.
Police said a caller contacted them at about 4am (CDT) today telling them the boat was lying on the freeway.
When the police arrived, they found the 4m fibreglass vessel, complete with outboard motor, and no sign of its owner.
