Introducing 'Caribbean 40 Flybridge Cruiser - MKII'
International Marine (makers of Caribbean Boats) is proud to announce the release of the new Caribbean 40 Flybridge Cruiser - MKII at the 2011 Sydney International Boat Show. The new C40 MKII will be available for viewing on the Sylvania Marina stand for the duration of the show. The C40 MKI has proven to be a very successful model since its release in 1998, and has enjoyed a constant and continuous production run, however the MKII has managed to improve on this iconic model and move it onto the next level of styling and design which will ensure its ongoing success well into the future.
The stylish new flybridge made a classic into a modern icon, with flowing flybridge curves the Caribbean 40 MKII will impress all that see her. The flybridge has been totally redesigned and now extends over the cockpit, which means a larger flybridge that now features a sun lounge, L shaped dinette with table, built in fridge and sink unit, larger dash area and lockable access hatch from the cockpit.
The flybridge overhang doubles as a fibreglass cockpit sun awning, which features LED down lights and a cockpit flood light. The cockpit has also been improved upon, and now includes a new designed single moulded FRP cockpit unit, which houses the Utectic fridge/freezer (increased in capacity from the MKI) and a sink unit and stowage locker. The saloon door has been offset to the starboard side to accommodate this larger unit. Internally this now means that the MKII has a larger dinette on the port side and larger bulkhead window.
Put all this together with a hull design and engineering that has proven itself for just on half a century of boat building and once again you will see why Caribbean are the boats the experts buy.
The MKII release will be unveiled at the Caribbean Boats display at the Sydney Boatshow, 28 July - 1 Aug at Darling Harbour.
