I have just re-engined my 26ft runabout and have gone from the Mercruiser 4.3 190hp to the MPI 220hp. With counter rotating legs, what would the recommended four blade props be.. At the moment the motors will only rev to 4200rpm, My boat is on Bribie Island and I am in Durban so I am not able to give the current prop dimensions. Do I need to reduce the current pitch by one or two inches to get the max recommended rpm Your valued advice is appreciated.
