When Darren Finkelstein of St Kilda Boat Sales brought the new Caribbean 35 Flybridge MK III to the Show, its distinction was being the biggest boat of the Show. But by 4:30pm on the first day of the show it had become the biggest SALE of the Show.
The buyer had been to the St Kilda Marina to look at other late model Caribbeans, but had not laid eyes on the new boat until he came to the Show. Two hours later, after selecting his preferred Raymarine fit-out (new E120 Touch Screen), he signed on the dotted line. His previous boat was a much smaller Bowr-Rider, but the new boat is for family overnighting so its safe walkaround areas were a winning feature, as was the hatch above the Flybridge steps to keep it secure.
Once it’s equipped with X-Box and Apple TV, it will be the perfect family weekender and ready for handover on 29 July 2010.
