We recommend Mercury engine packages. We offer the latest range of Outboard models including: Mid Range, Optimax, EFI & Verado Supercharged. We also offer the full range of Mercruiser Sterndrives. Note: The vessel manufacturers' reccomended maximum horsepower rating for this vessel is: 90hp.

Tow Weight

Based on information supplied to us by our various component manufacturers, below are individual component weights for your information and towing safety.

Hull Weight - 460kg
Trailer Tare (tow weight) - 325kg MacKay MLKR series Trailer
Engine Weight - 170kg - based on the: Mercury 90hp OptiMax Outboard
No allowance for say -  Battery, Anchor, Electronics, Covers etc 

Total Tow Weight = 955kg's.

The above figures represent DRY weight (i.e no fuel  & no water) inclusive of the boat, engine & trailer package,  as specifically advertised as our Drive Away packages.

Vic Roads - No Permit Required

Based on this weight, towing of this complete package (boat, engine & trailer)  - can be undertaken without the need for a towing permit nor special conditions. 

Please contact Vic Roads Ph: 13 1171, should you be planning to tow a weight greater than the firgures shown above. You should always check your vehicle owner's handbook and your tow-bar compliance, to confirm your manufacturers, reccomended tow-capacity and load requirements.

Failure to do so, may result in the cancellation of your vechicle and / or boat insurance policies.
