Darren Finkelstein and Andrew Rose are the Dealer Principals and co-owners of St Kilda Boat Sales. Our business is truly unique because; we sell luxury new and used power boats, we service, we repair, we fuel and we wash them all here at St Kilda Marina.

We are a true one-stop shop for all things marine, where a complete and pleasurable Boat Ownership experience is our focus.

Our typical client is from some of the wealthiest families in Australia, the self-employed, retiree’s, senior executives and leading entrepreneurs - who are all looking to get out on the water.

In the past 10 years we’ve literally sold hundreds of boats, we are an industry Accredited Boat Dealer and have long term fuel contracts with the Water Police and the Coast Guard. Every year we service and repair over 300 boats in our fully equipped workshop, by our team of trained mechanics and marine professionals.

In working with that many boats and that many owners, we’ve realized there are three main problems that exist:

1.   Boat owners are busy people, what they don’t want is a boat soaking up more of their time.
2.   Owners don't have the required expertise to problem solve, which makes them nervous about owning a boat.
3.   Owners hate having to juggle and coordinate all the different marine services on offer. What we’ve found is that they want to trust just one company, to do everything 'boating' for them.

St Kilda Boat Sales and our Service Centre are both located at St Kilda Marina, in bayside Melbourne suburb of Elwood. The famous St Kilda Marina was originally built from reclaimed swamp land by Archibald (Arch) Wilberforce Spooner in 1969. Make no mistake, St Kilda Marina is the home of Caribbean Boats....

Today still hand-making Caribbean Boats the old fashion way, the next generation of Spooners led by grandson Richard (the 3rd generation) is the companies Managing Director. Arch's youngest son Greg manages the St Kilda Marina location. Interestingly, the Spooners were the first to introduce fibreglass into the process of boat building here in Australia. True industry pioneers, now having all three generations, hands-on building boats!

Now fifty years on and some 50,000+ boats later, International Marine are still boat building at their original Caribbean Gardens factory in the outer eastern Melbourne suburb of Scoresby. Proudly, still Australian made and sold all over the world.
